These saws have a rather large amount of draw on a 15 amp breaker... they should be able to operate on a 15 amp breaker, however nothing else can share that breaker.... and if it is an outside plug (GFI) it will be even more likely to trip. If possible, use a 20 amp breaker...they can be found in the garage where central vacuum plugs in. If this isn't an option then ensure nothing else is on a normal 15 amp breaker, use a heavy gauge extension cord, and the shorter the cord the better.

My DeWalt D27105 Type 1 did overload. What can I do in order to get it working again? As I see it, it doesn't have an overload protector.

There is no circuit breaker build in.

The are complete carbon brush motors to buy for this model.
If its overloaded the housing the electric field can be damaged .
strongly depends on the age of the machine, the old ones have an induction motor, there are specially complete brush motors for replacement.
Which also make the table lighter in weight, and they are fine but one hint foster timely maintenance bearing on the drive side of the armature in these engines, due to the flat drive belt and higher required tension and low cooling over it they quickly called and often have a problem bearing,

Where are the brushes in the dewalt 788 20" scroll saw? Mine keeps blowing fuses & I think the brushes need cleaned but don't know how to get to them

Blowing fuses is not caused by brushes unless there is a huge spark show going on and if that is the case your armature will be trashed as well - the electronic module in that saw is notorious for failure and that is where I would start

My DeWalt scroll saw will not turn on. Have checked outlets and would like to check fuse. Not sure how to open fuse hatch without risking damage. I keep all manuals but can't locate one for this saw.

take a small screw driver and push down on the clip at the top of the fuse holder, it should open and you cans ip iy out. be sure and replace the fuse with a 3 AMP FAST BLOW ( not a slow blow) oldcodger2

Whilst using my flipsaw recently it jammed in a peice of timber and tripped the power, whenever I plug it in and try it now it trips the power straight away, it's a Dewalt D27105

Check the saw for freedom of turning motion (by hand). If ok, then you may have a defective circuit breaker. Check by replacement. Hope this helps!

Dewalt flip saw keeps blowing fuse

common problem with this saw is the brushes when worn down to about half inch, won't go into the brush holder any further and starts to arc against the commutator. eventually the heating will burn out the commutator. a replacement armature will cost you $75 plus shipping.
