Well, I replaced the pressure switch with no joy. I tried all 5 levels of pressure 1-5 and every wiring combination. Finally, I returned the new $70 pressure switch and took the 2 wires and tied them together (jumped them). Here's the only downside...If you run your pump in backwash, recirc, waste, or any mode that would cause water to bypass the heater it MUST BE OFF. Otherwise, let it ride. It's working great and I hope to go into October weather permitting.

I received a notice that the filter needs cleaning. How do I do that?

THis is a PRS code (clean filter/strainer) correct?
This simply means that either there is no water flowing through the pool heater (possibly due to a dirty filter)
If you know you have good water flow, then your pressure switch has failed. Replace the pressure switch.

Upon start heater comes on for about 5 seconds and shuts down. Then starts again and stops again, and so on. "PRS" appears

PRS means the pressure switch is opening and shutting off the heater as you describe. Either your filter and/or inlet baskets need a good cleaning or the pressure switch in the heater is failing. Try a thorough cleaning first and then replace the pressure switch if necessary.

Prs error code, clean strainer

Your not getting enough pressure to run the heater. So you need to clean the strainers and clean the filter. If you have a DE filter you may want to break it down and clean it. While your at this you should check your pressure switch and your by-pass valve.

Heater not working -

Check the pump strainer basket for debris and see if the pressure is high on your filter. If so, backwash time. The "filter: error is usually restricted flow...

Why is my filter system losing prime?

It could be one of these issues with your pool filter. Try these solutions. If none of them work, let me know and I will do some more research.

1. D.E. coated with normal accumulation of pool dirt, algae, etc.
Solution: Bump your filter.

2. Pump strainer basket or skimmer basket is clogged.
Solution: Clean

3. Pump impeller vanes clogged.
Solution: Cleaning with a stiff wire brush through the pump strainer opening will usually work. Alternate method would be to disassemble and clean.

4. Air Leak on suction side of pump.
Soultion: Check cover gasket, hand knobs, hose, clamps, etc. Replace or tighten as necessary.

Dishwasher stuck´s in program

Hi there,

Well to Reset the error message as follows: To cancel the error message, turn the rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or press the "Start/Stop" switch for approx. 5 secs. Then switch the appliance off and then back on again.

If resetting not work then you can check that the stopcock is opened fully or whether the water inlet hose is kinked. Check that the water inlet filter is not clogged and clean it, if necessary, as described in the operating instructions. Check that the drain pump is not clogged.

Good Luck!!
