Did the flash go off? Is the subject farther than 10 feet because any more than that and your flash will not illuminate it.

My polaroid camera won't eject the film. Are the cameras broken or is the battery dead?

When you take a picture of darkness, are you using flash or uprating the film ?
More seriously, as the film is thirteen years out of date, I seriously doubt if it is still viable. The chemicals within the film pack will have deteriorated over time, and it is my guess that they may well have leaked into the film pack's internal mechanism, thus preventing the photos being ejected. Try again with fresh film.

Canon 60D playback images turning up black

Did you switch to Tv (shutter mode) and took pictures for several seconds? like in the dark? Because saving the picture can take as long as the shutter time was.
Before panic. (Actually you never should panic) check your camera in automatic mode. And make sure you did not select any power save action, that puts your display on dark while shooting.
But always be sure your battery is charged and check its capacity. In the menu yo can check under the wrench symbol, when you select Battery info. Page 268 of the manual.
Working with a bad battery can damage the camera in the end.

Camera took pictures to # 7, then the 7 just blinks off and on, then won't do anything else. I put in new batteries, thinking that might be problem. It isn't/ what to do????

Likely its the film tranport motor. If that goes out, the camera cannot advance film. Try rewinding film. I forget if the 7000 had 1 or 2 such motors. Could also be teeth broken/worn out on the gears, but sounds like a trip to the repair shop is in order. If it will not rewind, put the camera inside a zipped dark jacket. Fold the bottom of the jacket to block light. Put your arms in the sleeves and open the camera back. Pull out the film, rewind it into the can.

Picture in dark condition.

It may be that your subject is too far away. The range of your internal flash is 12 feet if you have the ISO set for Auto, or 23 feet if the ISO is set for to 1000. You may get Normal 0   Normal 0 acceptable results with the ISO set to 1000 without the flash, but you should put the camera on a tripod (the shutter speed could be as low as 1/8 of a second) and use set the zoom for wide angle (the lens lets in almost 8 times the light as it does in maximum telephoto.)

I hope this helps,

Mike
