Question about Sharp AR-235 Copier

Copies have double exposure on them, what would cause this on my sharp ar-2335? thanking you in advance.

Press custom settings, then go to key operator settings. The default log in is 00000. Then go to ccopy settings, default, exposure adjust.

Whole page covered by black and no copy is displayed when we copy orginal


Check the exposure lamp :
open the upper cover and turn on the machine if you didn't see light in copy glass you should replace the copy lamp.

Hallow, this is a problem with the exposure lamp on the document glass which is not working or if it is lighting, it is not sensing the white mark on the cover which is above it.
Remedy
Please check if the cover that locks the glass is well screwed or present.
Check if the copy lamp is lighting and replace with a working one.
Check if its cable is not disconnected on its power board located beneath it.
Replace the main board of the machine.
Nb use that sequence to solve your problem and good luck.

Hello sir; Try to make a copy while lift up the cover, if scan without light. it means the exposure lamp defective, replace it will take care the peoblem.

here is the fix: Press "C", press the exposure button (below the picture of the little man), press "C", press the exposure button. When you do this all the indicator lights will turn off. Now input "24", press the green start button, input 07, and press the start button again. Now turn the copier off and back on with the power switch on the side.

there IS another subcode besides E7 try holding the stop or start or clear key you will probably see some different #'s
