Hi, well normally if something says simple, i guarantee you its not lol, i will try help you, what i think it is saying is, go to file on menu at top, select new, then will give you options on what you are going to convert, choose the format, then it should open another window, say, file manager direct it to the file you want to convert, once picked, then choose the output place, ie your dvd writer, or hard drive, then when everything is in order, press convert...then it should do it all for you from there...if still no joy give me an email at... steve_e_morris@hotmail.com and i will see if i can sort it for you k...hope this helps please vote thanks

Something simple probably, I figured it out before but now I'm just too frustrated to remember how I did it. Problem is..."Please make sure ISO9660 + UDF 1.02 file system is selected" WHERE...

Make sure the checkbox besides the video files you want to convert and burn has been ticked. If there is none video been ticked, the program prompts when starting conversion or burning. When all the checkboxes are ticked, the video files added in will be converted and burned following the order of the file list.
Sothink Movie DVD Maker supports burning movies to various discs like DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R and DVD-RW, and it also supports burning movies to different target disc sizes like "DVD-5" and "DVD-9". Those target video settings are all set in General Settingsor Advanced Settings panel.
Note: If you would not like to burn movies once the video files conversion is completed, please un-tick the checkbox "Check disc status before starting encoding" under dialog Options. Meanwhile, please make sure there is no disc in the CD-ROM.

If there is no DVD writer in the PC, when the video conversion and DVD menu creation are completed, it pops up a dialog to prompt that a folder for the DVD structure has been created successfully. Just click button "OK" in the dialog to open the folder and burn all the files in that folder to disc using your burning tool.
Please make sure ISO9660 + UDF 1.02 file system is selected while burning the disc.

hope this helps

Upon installing Dazzle, there was good audio sound but no video.

On the start up of the instant DVD recorder program, you can either use the "let the wizard guide you" or "advance mode"

1. Select source:
you should select the options:

Video standard NTSC (Because this is the default in our region)
Video composite - if you are using RCA (red, yellow and white cables)
S-video - if you are using the cable with several pins in it.

2. Select Burner
You should select the options:
Hard disc folder - if you will be saving the content in your hard drive, the format of this files are DVD such as VOB and IFO etc.
TSST - _ _ _ _ - if you will selecting your DVD drive.

(If you have selected your DVD Burner and you cannot click "next" to proceed to the Third option,
this means that your DVD drive is not able to burn a DVD)

3. Select menus
It must be NO

4. Recording
select total recording time (make sure that Dazzle is selected in the "select source" to set the total recording time, if the Dazzle is not available, try other USB ports or download the drivers in the link below)
