Question about Ovens

3 Answers

I have a Frigidaire ove model # GLGFM98GPBC S#VF80923871. Originally the problem was that the oven was beeping, with out any codes. I thought it would be the ERC, and changed it, although that wasn't the problem. The noise was coming from the lower oven's warming drawer board, thats located behind the knob. I changed that board, and the next day the buzzing returned. What can be my problem?

Hello.

what you need to do to fix up oven back again

is that you will have to locate the element of your oven it has develop a lick-age from it some air get escape from it and

the element is the heat provider for your oven that allow it to carry out it function has an oven it is always in silver colour and it is connected to the maize (the wire or the hose from the gas ) which supply power to it

unscrew the oven from the back and trace the wire or the hose that connect to the element

No fault codes, no ERC (even replaced), and no board? I suggest visit the dealer, with this type devices cannot play, remember that keep high voltage when working.

Good luck.

first thing to do is to look it up, do you have the booklet that comes with it can look it up that way. If not you can go on the mfr website and punch up the model # it will tell you what the code refers to. When we know what the problem is we can fix it

Oven door locked

ah, you lucky guy. You can try a hard reset by unplugging the range for a good 1/2 hour, then plug back in. Unfortunutely this probably won't work, as these clock/timers are notorious for only lasting a few years. You have to blow $150+ and replace the clock/timer. Note: A hair dryer will help you get the face off the old one to put onto the new one.

It is telling you that your oven has an issue. Check your owners manual for the fault code definitions. If you have a model number I may be able to find it for you.

Fault Code F1

Frigidaire oven fault code F1 means the electronic clock control is bad and should be replaced. That is the electronic control board that shows your clock display and is also called clock or eoc, depending on your model.

Fridgidaire stove/ove

I have a Frigidaire electric oven model # PLES389ECE. It is two years old. It has maybe 50hrs of use. I had the oven blower motor go out. Then I had a circuit board malfunction.  The repairman discovered that one of the main terminal connections was loose and caused the terminal block to short. Could this have been the problem all along? Also, we are having a problem with the oven coming up to temp. According to the operating manual, set oven temp. lets say for example  350 degrees. Once the oven is preheated to 350 a beep sounds. With my oven the oven is about 60 degrees to low. You have to wait about 10 more minutes. Is this normal with this model? Has anyone else had problems with this model? I also heard that Frigidaire made a bad batch of ranges. Could this be one of them?
Thanks, Vincent
