The Toshiba 32AV500U cannot display 1080p. Hook up your PS3 to your computer monitor, provided that it can display 1080p, or some other TV that can, then change your Video Output settings under Settings> Display Settings and uncheck 1080p, which will allow the PS3 to display in 1080i. Once you do that, then hook up the Toshiba via HDMI and it will work with no problem.
you will have to look at the manual, but sometimes Audio isn't transmitted on HDMI cable,( I know it makes no sense). sometimes you will have to also use the digital optical audio cable, or SPDIF coax didital cable. I had to use the Di
As for your PS3 I had simillar issue, the PS3 doesn't Automattically adjust from analog, to component, to HDMI. If you get a signal thru the Reg RCA plugs, if you plug in the HDMI cable at the same time, then go to the system settings and change the type of plug you want to use, choose the HDMI, and the screen should flicker then show the signal from the HDMI, then just power off and/or unplug the analog cables, and you are using HDMI. hope this helps, if so thanks for the ratings
i have a ilo 32 in hdmi hdtv and i have mine hook up to direct tv .on the back of the receiver plug your red, white and yellow into the audio 1 of the direct receiver. on the back of your ilo tv plug the other end to the av1 and use S-VIDEO ALSO. plug the sat cord to the ant.in. on the tv set remote hit video and go down to s-video and hit ok. you need to plug all three plugs into their color ans the s-video too in the AUDIO section. mine works great !
Hi, I'm afraid that not only a cable is needed but an analog (vga) to digital (dvi) converter/scaler as well. The iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12 can hook up to a PC using the DVI-I connection only. As you said, your computer has the standard 1D15 pin VGA connector.
Another possibility is if your video card has a composite video output (normally a color yellow RCA female) or an S-Video output which will both connect direct to your iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12. For the RCA connection all you need is an ordinary RCA to RCA shielded wire cable and for the S-Video, an S to S Video cable will work. There is of course the question about the quality or the resolution.
Good luck and hope that this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up. Kind regards.
Not sure if you have fixed your problem or not. When I hook up my pc to the ILO 32 HD...I ran DVI input for picture...you can also use HDMI if you like..I had a problem with sound and had to use a splitter and run sound into AV2 IN to get sound for some reason...your no picture...if you are getting a black screen, you need to set the resolution on your pc. VGA to 640x480 and SVGA should be 800x600 and XGA should set at 1024x768..most likely the last one is the one you need..and this is not a normal pc res....set your refresh rate to 60HZ. All this is done in the control panel/display/settings tab.
Also remember that you need to change your source on the TV to the proper connection to see it...ie component, HDMI etc.
