I have ordered a ty-la1000 lamp for my panasonic pt50lc14 tv. the manual gives no information as to how to rset the lamp timer. please advise

I noticed that the manual on the below website has more information and instructions than the one that came with the tv on how to replace the bulb and reset the lamp timer, etc. Easy to do but they told me two years ago I had to have it done by a technician which costed me $300.

V5 filter replace - how to reset red flashing light?

Hello,

So after you have replaced the V5 Cell Filter in the IQ Air, here are the steps you'll need to follow in order to reset the filter indicators:

  • At the main menu on the control panel, push the menu button 7 times until you get to the screen that says Replace Filter.
  • At the Replace Filter screen, press and hold the Enter Key until the cursor appears, and is flashing.
  • Press the UP arrow button on the keypad until you get to the V5 Cell Filter.
  • At the V5 Cell Filter screen press the Enter Key to confirm your filter reset selection. This will turn the corresponding filter LED to a flashing red light. IQAir requires that your reconfirm the filter selection to prevent inadvertently resetting the wrong filter. If you chose the wrong filter, press the menu key after pressing the enter the first time to disregard the filter change command.
  • To confirm the filter reset selection, press enter a second time, which will reset the filter life, and reset the filter hours.
You can repeat these instructions for the other two filters on your machine when it's time. Here's a link to the product manual for your IQ Air Health Pro Plus which will give you the same instructions, as well as other maintenance instructions.

My hitachi cpx201 projector says to check the air flow

Hi There Teacher!
the air filter unclips on the left hand side, lens facing out.
after vacumming out the filter see below for filter reset counter procedure
Good Luck!
Turn the projector on and reset the filter time using the FILTER TIME item in the EASY MENU. Before taking care of the air filter, make sure the power switch is off and the power cable is not plugged in, then allow the projector to cool sufficiently. Taking care of the air filter in a high temperature state of the projector could cause an electric shock, a burn or malfunction to the projector. Use only the air filter of the specified type. Do not use the projector without the air filter or the filter cover. It could result in a fire or malfunction to the projector. Clean the air filter periodically. If the air filter becomes clogged by dust or the like, internal temperatures rise and could cause a fire, a burn or malfunction to the projector. WARNING Please replace the air filter when it is damaged or too soiled. When you replace the projection lamp, please replace the air filter . An air filter of specified type will come together with a replacement lamp for this projector . Please reset the filter time only when you have cleaned or replaced the air filter, for a suitable indication about the air filter. The projector may display the message such as ?gCHECK THE AIR FLOW?h or turn off the projector, to prevent the internal heat level rising. NOTE (1) Press the MENU button to display a menu. (2) Point at the FILTER TIME using the ??/?? button, then press the button. A dialog will appear. (3) Press the ?? button to select RESET on the dialog. It performs resetting the filter time.

Hi Here is the info for you :: Caring For The Air Filter The air filter should be cleaned about every 100 hours. If the indicators or a message prompts you to clean the air filter, clean the air filter as soon as possible. If the soiling will not come off the air filter, or it becomes damaged, then it needs to be replaced. Please replace the air filter as soon as possible. memoWhen you replace the lamp, please replace also the air filter. Turn off the projector, and unplug the power cord. Allow the lamp bulb to cool for at least 45 minutes. Apply a vacuum cleaner to the top of the filter cover and the air filter to clean. If the soiling will not come off the air filter, or it becomes damaged, it needs to be replaced. If the air filter needs to be replaced, contact your dealer to prepare a new air filter. Tell the dealer your air filter type. Turn on the projector power, and reset the filter timer. (1) While the projector running, press the MENU button to open the menu. (2) Choose the ?OPTION? on the menu using the / button, then press the button or ENTER button. (3) Choose the ?FILTER TIME? using the / button, then press and hold theRESET button for 3 seconds.
