I am going to guess that since you can copy some types of media files to your phone then the problem is the format of the video files you want to copy. The phone's media playing application may not show files it cannot recognize.(or show an error message).

If you want to watch videos (or movies) on any type of smart phone or mobile player then I suggest you download a free application called Format Factory. It converts any type of media file to any other type of media file (video, music, pictures, DVDs). It has settings for Blackberry phones, iPods, PsP, etc. Go to: http://www.formatoz.com/ and check it out.

Cant watch all videos

Videos will have different file types(Ex: .mp4,.mpeg,.vob,.avi etc).If you are using windows media player, all video file types are not supported.Install TCPMP Player which you can download from internet. It will play almost all filetypes.

Mp4 and avi files not working, says it requires plug in..wat to do

You can not play those formats with the built in player because it supports only 15 frames per second.
You have to install QEZX Player to play those formats.

Watching videos from sd card.

Well, you did not specify the format of the videos you would like to watch... Are they MP4, 3GP, DivX, XVid, WMV, Flash Video? There are dozens of different video file formats out there...

I would recommend you to download TCPMP (The Core Pocket Media Player) from:

http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/

latest version is: 0.72RC1

It is a free player that supports a great deal of video formats on the pocket pc and it is your best bet to play most of the video formats available on the internet.

You can even associate all video formats with this player so that each time you click on them TCPMP is started automatically to play them.

Hope this helps.
