Question about Acer TravelMate 272XV PC Notebook
can i get this configuration ia any branded companies... & if s which brand will b the best
Hi chamathu, the best is the one with the longest warranty(24-7 coverage). You'll pay for more years (extended warranty) but it's worth every dime. Almost every company start's their notebooks with the basic's, like what you posted for an average of $399.00.
Not including tax's, warranty's & shipping.
The cost to repair a notebook is almost triple over a PC desktop. Today's notebooks all seem to come with Windows Vista. That's the worst operating system to date for microsoft. (Five version & five nightmares)!
(I see it everyday right here).
Getting a notebook with Win XP Pro is perfact. You want at least 1GB memory. (512 is too low because notebooks video cards share's your PC's system memory to run).
I can suggest these because I know these better. When choosing a company, pick a name brand that will still be there many year's down the road.
Dell's Inspiron 1525
Compaq's Presario C700T series.
I could spend hour's listing models but these two I like.
Good Luck! Take your time.
