Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Our xbox 360 is coming on by itself making a very strange grinding noise and when you shut it off it comes right back on. So as of now we have it unplugged. Can you figure this out?
When the xbox 360 is plugged into a power outlet, power is at the "entrance" of the console is stopped or held. When there is an internal hardware issue, some of the power leaks into the console, turning it on. If you want to fix the issue, I would suggest calling microsoft for repair. (only if you are under warranty) Otherwise, find a better repair company.
The grinding noise is natural, it is the console's way of turning on.
