My computer is infected with many viruses and I've tried system restoring it to a later date but I want to just reformat the whole thing. I don't have a disk so I was wondering how I'd go about reformating...

Without a system disc you are limited in what you can do restore/reformat wise. However "Nil Disperandum" there are other tools you can use to clear any virus or malware.

Here's one, there are others frm other AV vendors. All free and very useful.

Please note, they should not be used as an alternative to an installed AV client.

My system restart again and again not allowing to enter the windows. i formatted and installed os again. Once format complete after copying file it will restart again and again not allow to next process. i...

Do a hard disk check. Your can download the hard disk check program from the respective HDD vendors eg. Seagate, Maxtor, Hitachi, etc... at their websites. to check if your hard drive is healty!!! or you can use the "Hiren's BootCD".

Repartion and reformat your HDD, before installing the OS using the Windows CD.

Since your PC is new as you mention, sent it back to the vendor and claim warranty from them.

I lost my cd of my laptop and i need to reformat it,how can i reformat with out the cd containing my windows vista home premium?

Hello :

I have an idea but I don't know if it's legal in your country or not !

The idea is that you can download windows vista using a torrent client . After that you can burn it on a CD then use the CD for reformatting .

If that is not clear then contact again by commenting please !

I have a gateway comp 500se i purchased in 2002 and everytime i want to format my disks have problems im needing the driver cd and the operating systems cd without having to purchase another one since this...

You should be able to download the drivers from the gateway.com site if you enter your serial number. The OS is another story...you're supposed to save those cds in a safe place..
Here's a guide to the reformat, though that won't help if you don't have the cds.
If you're having problems with malware, I recommend these removal protocols. They may just save you a reformat...

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Please help going out my head with this problem

dell machines store information about the recovery partition in the boot record of the computer.
If your computer was reformatted earlier or the original boot record was replaced this would happen.

What you can do right now is insert the dell recovery cd in the drive and restart the computer. it will ask you on the screen to press any key to boot from cd press any key and the reinstallation formatting options would appear on the screen.

I hope this helped!

keshey
