Good Morning please try it: for sending text messages : 1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct 2. call to your network operator customer care 3. request the message center number... 4.note it down 5. go to message settings>message center number 6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
hello,t's your message center number that has been tampered with,so all you need to do is to get someone who uses the same network with you,i.e.that you are under the same service provider to provide you with his/her phone for you to copy the message center number into your own mobile phone...
Secondly, you can as well cal your service provider customer care service to provide you with their message center number so as for you to enter it into your mobile phone..
kindly follow the steps below to allow you enter your message center number MENU>MESSAGE>MESSAGE SETTINGS>TEXT MESSAGE>SENDING PROFILE>DEFAULT PROFILE>THEN YOU SEE THE MESSAGE CENTER NUMBER,YOU CLICK TO EDIT AND TYPE IN THE CORRECT ONE. KINDLY RATE ME IF THIS SOLUTION IS HELPFUL
Tap Start >> Settings >> Phone, go to Services tab, select Voicemail and Text Messages and tap Get Settings. You may change the service center number from here. In case you do not know the correct number, call up your SIM provider and get the number from them.
I had the same problem and came to this site for help but the solutions didn't solve the problem of "cannot send text message" on htc touch hd. All service numbers correct. Went to START/SETTINGS/CONNECTIONS/ADVANCED NETWORK/SMS SERVICE then changed from "gprs" to "gprs preferred". Double checked and had reverted to "GSM" but sms now works - finally!!! Hope this helps.
This is almost certainly a problem with your phone not having the correct Message Centre settings (have you ever used this phone with a different carrier?).
The Message Centre number can be found in Messaging/Settings/Text Message/Text Message Centre. You will probably need to check with your Service Provider to get the correct number, although you may find it on their website.
