My camera dock prints only half the page as well. I rarely use the dock and it is just over a year old too which or course is out of warranty. I contacted Kodak and they walked me through a test process but the problem still occured. There next solution was that I could send it in for repair and it would cost approximately $80 to fix plus the shipping costs to get the printer dock to them or I could send them my printer dock and they would send me a 15% of coupon to buy another dock from them.

Mine just started to not print along the top of the page, about an inch or so. I only print from the camera and never have had the dock hooked up to a computer. Within the 3 years I've had this printer dock, I have ran about 100 prints thru it. I keep it covered up when not in use. Still sound like a SW or FW issue? if so, where would I find upgrades (if they exist)?

You have answered questions regarding people who have photo printers. The questions asked are based on thermal transfer image printers, not bubble jet as your answers seem to be based on. FYI if people are having issues with their thermal printers, particularly with pictures printing, "Printing" partial pages, how in the world could you deduce that there is a driver issue? You've been more harmful than helpful. If for some reason there is "No" printing being done, then sure 25% of the problem could be drivers or firmware issues. However if it all of a sudden happens, then we have to think of it like a chain on a bicycle suddenly
breaking. Which in this case has a percentage of 50% or greater being the problem.
The lucky ones, (those w/ mechanical aptitude) can simply open the printer and make the screw adjustment(don't get me wrong it's time consuming and tedious) but the unlucky ones will find a cracked gear assembly which depending on the seriousness may be able to be repaired with "Model Glue". The recommended action is to follow your warranty, should
you not have one, guess what, these models are no longer manufactured for this exact reason. Which is why Kodak changed the color to Black on the new ones. So remember, if you buy it on sale... You now have full experience as to why the item was on sale in the first place, same goes with Manufacturer coupons as well!!!! If you want an item to last you don't buy it on sale, that old wives tale of 'Overstocked Item' is a gimmick
and remember to follow the item you purchased at full price. If all of a sudden the items price drops to half price, contact the manufacture to find out why, you may have a hidden problem, and if you contact them inside your warranty range you stand a good chance of receiving a voucher for a replacement model to keep you from getting to the point you are in currently. Good luck, and remember if it's on sale, you should reconsider how long you are going to long you need the product before you buy

Most of these issues are caused by drivers in the computer that are not agreeing with the pritner.

I would doubt its something hardware as its prting half.

Printing my own pictures

I use the Epson Print CD software that cam with my printer. If you refer to the numbers in the attached picture I can show you how to select your own pictures to print on CD. 1. Select the "background" icon in the side bar. 2. Choose "select image" 3. Choose "file" & browse to the folder where your pictures are. 4. You can also choose to import the clipboard if you copy an image from another application or choose "twain" to get images from your scanner or camera. In the example I chose the "sunset" picture for my CD. Try the above & let us know how you get on! Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!
