If this is an Admiral washing machine, I found a complete parts listing for your washer at repairclinic.com. The drain pump you mentioned is listed as item #1000731 and costs $47.30. The drive belt is item #1318 and lists at $17.30. Just go to the website and type in your COMPLETE model number in the Search menu. Hope this helps you.

High pitched noise

This is a water pump about to blow, or a clogged filter or hose. The fact that you hear it immediately, and limited water level is involved, it's pretty much your bingo.
After turning off the water supply, unscrew the garden hose-like attachments for hot and cold water intake. There is sometimes a small filter right there where the water enters. If they're clogged, clean em.
Take the hoses and run them through an outside plug to make sure they aren't clogged with back flowed dirt from the filter and hard water.
If it still won't fill, you'll need to test the pump.
each machine is different, but if you follow the hoses from where your hoses enter the machine, you should be able to unscrew them at the other end.
Stick them in a deep bucket then turn on the machine and see what the pump does. Is the noise coming from it? (service or replace). Does water gush out of the pump into the bucket? (clean all hoses and filters, buy some machine grease and lube all the moving parts, including opening the water pump and giving it a generous amount of grease.
Put it all back and your squeal will one way or another be gone and you'll have plenty of water

Water pump failed difficult to turn tub

I THINK YOU MAY NEED TO BUY A NEW PUMP FOR YOUR WASHER. OR IF YOU CAN FIND A OLD WASHER THAT IS THE EXACT SAME MODEL AS YOURS, MAYBE YOU CAN TAKE THE PUMP OFF OF IT AND TRY IT ON YOUR WASHER. IF THAT FAILS, THEN BUY A NEW PUMP.

Washing machine wont drain out water

Is this a front loader like a whilpool HE series? If it is, simply remove the bottom panel by removing the 3 screws. There is a drain clean out right in front that could be plugged. That happens a lot. Just make sure you have something like a shop vac or pan so you don't get water everywhere. If that doesn't do it, possibly the pump impeller is off the motor and you'll need a new pump. Either way I think we can get this going pretty easy and in-exspensivly. Let me know what you find. The model number should also be behind the door and that would help

Loud noise -- water pump??

Yes you definately need a new pump assembly part number 21001906 $59.95. That is a maytag part number and it is a very common repair. The new pump is a revised design and will look different but will mount the same. Axcess through front panel.
