Question about Sony PlayStation 2 (PS2) Console
You shouldn't need to connect your PS2 to your cable box. Both are video signal sources.
However, some cable boxes do have aux or line inputs. In that case you would connect the yellow, red and white plugs from the PS2 AV cable to your cable box's yellow, red and white inputs. Make sure the jacks you plug in to are labelled input or in, otherwise they're outputs and they won't work.
