Move your router closer to your adapter, or move your adapter closer to your router.

Also make sure any antennas are pointed straight up. A sideways antenna won't pick up signal well.

Here is a great entry for way to increase your signal. WIFI-Boost. Aside from physically moving it closer to the modem/router and/or running a cable to it.

I cant use xbox live without plugging into router which im unable to do. Is there another solution

You can do it wirelessly. You need a wireless router and if you have an older model Xbox(The newer models have the wireless adaptor built in) you need to by the wireless adaptor. Found a Liknsys Cisco wireless N-300 router refurbished on Tiger Direct for under $30. I bought one there excellent same one at Walmart between $60 and $90. The Adaptor for the 360 is $79.99 to $99.99 and you can get those online or at Walmart and Gamestop.

f you are hooking it up to a DSL cable/modem,

3. Connect the WAN port of the router to the DSL or cable modem.
4. Connect a personal computer (not pictured) to an available LAN port of the

Internet.
5. Follow the specific instructions that come with the router. There is no additional installation for switches.

I have a wireless router in my bedroom where the internet comes into my house. My sons got a PS3 and have hooked it up, it is now saying the ethernet cord in not connected. What is this and how do I fix...

Check that ethernet cord is plugged in correctly to router.Ethernet cord looks like a telephone cord.
must be in the lan port of router.

You need to have a ethernet cable going from the back of the ps3 to your router in 1 of the ports.

or ps3 needs a wireless adaptor to pick up the wirless signal from the router.

On the setup for your wireless network through your router, you have to allow access for other devices. Your internet provider should also be able to walk you through this process as they did for me when I had the exact same problem.

Can i get the internet with my ubs cord from my psp to my comperter

No, I am afraid there is no internet support through the USB cord.
You must go through the built-in wifi adaptor, which will need to be configured to your wireless router.
