try to use your hdisk as an external drive. put it in an hdisk enclosure and attach that to a usb of a working PC> see if the pc is able to detect the hardisk. if it can't then your hdisk really failed. you need to get a replacement. if it can be detected in an external device, try copying all files that you needed for anytime now the disk will fail you forever.

I Have a Hitachi Lifestudio hard drive attached to my Apple G5 for 7 months now, and suddenly just dessapear of my desktop or menu the Computer it won't recognize it anymore HELP!!!!!!

ry connecting the external hard drive to another computer to recover/backup your data.
When you have such a large capacity hard drive, it pays to have a second large capacity hard drive to backup your data in the event of the other hard drive dying.Hard drives do fail especially if you accidently drop it.

I connect my Hard drive after a month . once i connected its works properly than I connect to the different PC all of sudden its wont works, computer reconganize the drive but not able to access any files....

If it works on some computers but not on others either they don't support the format or the drive letter assigned to the drive is already in use by the computer. Windows Help > Change drive letter

If it cannot be read by any computer either the hard drive has failed, the AC adapter has failed or the internal board that converts USB to drive interface has failed. Best bet is to remove the drive from the enclosure and put it in a new enclosure. or Best Buy > drive enclosures

If a new enclosure does not work the drive has failed. Google > hard drive recovery

Good luck!

Windows all of a sudden does not recognize the 100GB hard drive. Message is that the USB device has failed. Running XP on all of my computers and plugging this drive into any of them fails.

There's a possible that the harddrive is corrupted, or could be the usb cable itself, have you tried connecting a different usb cable for the harddrive? If so and still doesnt work have it covered by the manufacturer of the harddrive

My hard drive suddenly started beeping and stopped working

Your drive has failed. to try to get back some of your items put the drive in the freezer for a day. the chill will make the heads condense enough for about 3 hours of use for emergency backup.

Try to hook it up to another computer and see if it works there. This will tell you if the device is failing. If you have found that it failed please see about replacing the power adapter. If still no live the device has failed and needs replacement.

No arranca sistema operativo se reinicia

suddenly turn off and set error and change hard drive and does the same when preparing to read the hard drive is restarted --------------------------------------------------------------- The hard-drive has completely failed, or the hard-drive's "S.M.A.R.T." report has sent a message to Windows that the hard-drive is having problems, and that it is soon to fail. You should copy all your files (to a USB memory-stick, or to a CD-R or DVD-recordable) and purchase a new hard-drive.
