Question about Computers & Internet
The date on my Asus A25D Notebook keeps going back to 2002 thus meaning I have to keep reinstalling my USB device and reactivating my software. I have reinstalled windows and replaced the CMOS battery. Any other suggestions?
If you have changed your CMOS battery then it is more likely a hardware failure, mother board. but first check the contacts of the CMOS battery. clean it well and tighten if u can by lifting the contacts a little. if it is a button type battery. if it is a board mount type, then you have to refer to ASUS service to check the main board.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
