Frigidaire (Model # CFEF312GSA)

The only thing on my stove that works is the clock, none of the burneres heat up nor does the oven work but it says they are all working. any ideas?

there seems to be power, the clock works and the buttons all light up jus no power to the burners or the oven

The power is coming in, all lights are on, but no heat. The stove is hard wired therefore Best Buy couldn't not do the installation. The electrician that installed said if the lights are on then it should be fine. Help! I want to start using my new stove.

Just purchased a $690 digital clock:( I just purchased this Frigidaire ES 340. I seem to have the same problem as listed above. It is wired exactly as shown in the manual, but the only thing that works is the clock, and the oven light. Neither the oven top nor the oven it's self will heat up. I made sure the unit is level, and read all help topics in the manual, but nothing. Can anyone help?

Sounds lke an electrical issue , go check the breaker ( should be a double breaker) fully turn off and reset, if that doesnt work id check the connection behin\d the range making sure all the wires are properly secured, doefinalty sound slike a lack of power issue

What's wrong and how do I fix it?

The circuit breaker outside in the power panel for the stove has a bad breaker. It will be two breakers with their handles joined together by a pin so if one tripe it takes the other so 220 V is no longer present. When one, but not the other trips you only have 110 V. That's why the lights and clock still work but no heating elements.

We have a frigidaire self cleaning oven . It made a bang and now there there is no power to my oven. Clock does not work , Burners on stove still work.

According to your symptoms, it appears that you will need a new electronic oven control board. If nothing on the range heats, you could have a tripped breaker on the 120 volt L2 leg of 240 volt power. This would prevent the cook top burners and the oven elements from heating.

Burners abruptly stooped working on top of the stove

check electrical panel of your house and make sure both breakers are in the on possition ..

Go check your fuse box. My stove did this, and i had blown one of the two circuits.

You must check your incoming power for 220 volts. You have lost one leg of your power. Either a bad breaker or bad wall outlet or bad range cord.

Stove won't heat

Oven was working, I had it on pre-heat, then I turned on the stove top, but the burners won't heat. When I turn on the stove top the stove makes a short BUZZ noise and the clock area lights up, when the burner is turned off all the lights go out. Please help, food prepared.

Burners not working and stove only heating up to MAYBE 100 degrees

Had a similar problem...it was the power coming into the house and the ground wire was badly connected. The power company checked out the lines feeding the house and discovered the problem. Its caused by the fact you are trying to heat the stove with only one line...when, you need two. Check the house circuitry.

From what you are describing, the power to your stove is incorrect. The diagram indicates the voltages that should be present at the receptacle, I suspect one of the 110 volt legs is bad at the receptacle or circuit breaker. The clock operates on the good 110 volt leg. The burners need both 120 volt legs to be good because the burners and oven need 220 volts to work.
