Dryer problem my dryer won't turn on when i press the button

Troubleshooting Why Your Dryer Won Start PartSelect com

It seems that the button is defective. This is something that will require a technician to check out.

The fuse is located on the heater element which is bolted to the back wall behind the drum.

Reach inside and try to turn the drum. If it is stiff you could have a bad roller or support bearing depending on your model. I have all kinds of dryer manuals HERE

mybe the star button stay stuck and the dryer tinks some one is puching the star button and it will continio to run. try to open the door and it will stop and then clouse the door if the dryer star whitout pushing the star then you now the star switch is stuck. goo lock

You have a bad motor. There should be a button you can press to make your dryer go while the door is open. Hold that and push the button in and then turn the drum. if that doesn't make it go then it is your motor
