Hansgrohe Kitchen Faucet low water pressure

Purchased Single Lever Kitchen Mixer (Ref. No.: 35807801) when I built my home in 2000. Water pressure has been reduced considerably, and water pressure for the handspray is much less than the low water pressure for the faucet. Can this be remedied without replacing the entire faucet?

Try removing the aerator and handspray to clean out any debris that may have accumulated. After 8 years there could be quite a buildup if it hasn't been regularly cleaned.

The faucet is rated at 6.7L/minute (<2 gal/m) and I would expect that's a design of the cartridge. You could measure flow with spray head attached, then remove head (see link) and measure again to see how much the head reduces rate of flow. You could try removing the check valve(s) but not sure if that will work as it may leak.

product features · consists of: single lever kitchen mixer · swivel range 150° · with telescopic function (330 - 500 mm) · normal and spray jet · lockable shower spray, spray returns through pressing spray diverter · quick connect shower hose · flow rate 6.7 l/min · ceramic cartridge · connection type: G ? compression · integrated non-return valve · suitable for continuous flow water heaters

Hansgrohe 35807801 kitchen faucet leak

On the 35807801 there are generally only two causes of a leak. If the faucet does not seem to shut off and constantly drips it will most likely be the cartridge. This will be part number 92730000. If the faucet is leaking around the sprayer or below the sink the most common cause is the pull out spray hose. This will be part number 88624000. If you need further help locating the parts or a dealer feel free to call Hansgrohe Tech at 1-800-334-0455.

What is that rattling sound when i use my kitchen faucet in the extreme hot or extreme cold position?

Water hammer: is a loud banging or clanging of the pipes usually occurring when a valve is turned on or off due to loose pipes.

Solution: Anchor the offending pipes to the wall. Buy water hammer arrestors. Also Lower the water pressure with a pressure reducing valve

Hope this tip Helps.

The hot water side has low water pressure. The

start by making sure the valve that supplies hot water to the sink and dish washer is fully open. If there is low hot water pressure in any of the other kitchen/bathrooms, then trace the line to see where the pressure drops. If it is only in the kitchen, it should be an old valve, (causes restriction)Good Luck.
