Hi- I went to radio shack and looked all over online for this 3 connector wire between the two screens. I finally found someone on ebay selling replacements parts and I ordered one from there. I just typed in the disney dvd player and the model number. This must be a common problem with these players!

Hook to a what? direct to your TV or to an audio/video amp? That depends on what is available in your DVD/VCR or toy our TV. simple cnnection is just the composite video signal colored yellow RCA connector. Video out of your DVD/VCD to Video input of your TV. Another option maybe if it has which is better is S-Video output of DVD to S-Video input TV. if you;re doing it via audio/video amp, then simply look for the input source and connect your video there. The audio... it's also RCD connectors colored Red/White for your right/left channels. it will always be like that for a stereo amp setup. but if you are using audio.video amp with sound preocessing then you'll have more audio connections at least 5, mains left/right, surround channels left/right, your center speaker, your subwoofer.

You can enter the menu option on-screen - [FUNCTIONS] button, then, look for 'COPY' then select VHS as source DVD as destination.

Or you can download a .pdf copy of the manual ONLINE - it's free for this model.

hook all you rca1.gif cables up to the audio/video in from the cable box, tv, and dvd/vcr combo then out to the surround sound youll also need to get some rca cable splitters for the out so you can run it back to the audio/video in to the tv as well as the surround sound here is alink to what they look like
http://www.altex.com/product_info.php?cPath=344&products_id=6201
youll need thre of these of course when hooking it up dont pay attention to the color on these just the ones from the tv and surround sound and thats it your done it will all work if you want it to were you dont have to get up and push a button everytime most of them if you push all the buttons in at one time theyll stay like that
