Insignia tv channel scan duplicate channels

the set should have in the menu a way to manually add or delete channels, consult the owner manual and or look for that feature in the sets menu.

Clearly with the owner manual if needed but most programming for the consumer is done by with the remote hitting the menu button and looking for what you want---channels? look for antenna/cable in setup part of menu and select which you have---locate Auto program and engage and set searches for all available channels based on what is hooked up to it for signal.

If you need a owner manual GOOGLE works best with the model number of the set and "manual" or similar words.

What channel or setting is used on the TV to play a DVD?

Hi, Channel 3 or 4 might work for older TVs. Most new HDTV's have a mode setting in the menu. (Video 1 or 2 or 3) or (Component 1 or 2). On your remote you may have DVD button. Try all these suggestions, 1 of these will work. You can play with the remote too. Good luck.

Channel not available

this could be as simple as you need to reprogram the channels or your cable company has moved that channel Comcast is doing a major restructure and I myself have lost a few channels on my philips but they are there but in a differant channel For instance channel 4.1 is now on 204.1 soon they will be all moved and you will have to run rescan

Try and reprogram all channels in the tv. Goto menu and use the auto program function to do this and see what happens. If this does not fix it then you will need to send to a repiar shop. The main pcb is most likly bad.

You can read the owners manual and do a channel scan to memory.

If you mean that just the first 13 channels are all you get, then you have to change from AIR to Cable or STD mode (again, read manual).
