Question about RCA Scenium HDLP61W151 61 in. HD-Ready Television
My tv is not turning on. When I turn the tv on the blue lights on the front flash and you can hear the sound on the tv off and on but you can't see the picture. I went out of town for four days and when I came back my tv was not turning on. We did have a storm while I was gone so I don't know if that's why the tv isn't working but I had it off while I was gone. When I turn it on I can hear that the Tv is trying to turn on but it can't. I looked and the lamp and the capacitors and those looked fine so i don't know what else it could be. Is there something i can do myself because I'm pretty handy and I don't have the money to pay someone to do this.
Have you tried the lamp even thogh it visualy look fine.it may still be defective and make sure the lamp door is put back properly because of the security door switch.also make sure all the fans are working and make sure the color wheel is installed properly.
find out how old is the lamp.if the lamp is close to two years old, probably the lamp is your problem.
