Thanks for chiming in. The freezer side is working well which leads me to believe the refrigerant is okay. I've been researching a bunch of sites, a few of the problems appear to be defroster related or damper related.

If you have buildup of frost in one compartment, you may have a problem with the defrost heater. These heaters are there in modernfrg/freezer to keep it from building up too much frost/ice.
They sometimes need to be defrosted and then restarted to solve this problem.
If that does not solve the problem then you should check the defrost heater circuit to see if it is functional.

From what I remember a flashing 4 means "damper error". Send your model number found inside or on the outside of the fresh food section, The air damper is found between the freezer and fresh food section and regulates temperature in the fresh food section by opening wide for things that warm up your fresh food section example would be opening the door and letting warm air inside . The damper then closes to keep the right temperature. If you have questions please ask, Thanks Sea Breeze
I have the exact same problem. I saw that I can buy a new LED light fixture for about $115 online. I removed my LED fixture and got no DC voltage difference on the wires when the doors were open or closed. This leads me to believe that the main circuit board is the problem. I also saw the main circuit board for about $125. I'd hate to buy the board and it not be the problem. Have you solved this yet?
Freezer and refrigeration isn't working There is no temperature indicating for Celsius of Fahrenheit it just displays OF. The letters "OF" on the display of your refrigerator indicate the
Cooling Off mode has been activated. To cancel this mode, press the
Lighting and Freezer buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until a chime
sounds and the display returns to normal, allowing you to set the
desired temperature. The compressor should turn on in about 5 minutes
and begin producing cold air. Thanks-Helpful?
Open freezer door, pull food off shelves on lower half of inside freezer and look if you have frost building up on the back wall of freezer. If you do then you have a defrost heater or thermostat possible gone bad.
Advise if you have frost build up and I will advise on how to check it.
Fridge along bottom shelves is much colder than the very top shelf which has milk etc., leading to spoilage. Fridge is at highest setting. In the upper left rear of the fridge compartment, is a cover for what I believe to be a circulatory fan. However, trying to remove this cover is difficult. It seems that the clip nuts to which the two (2) small capscrews fasten are free wheeling and not allowing me easy access to the motor.
I believe your defrost control board is defective part number 0165748 You can visit my site below and enter the part number or the model number GC2224GEK in the search feature. We also offer free help, Thanks, Sea Breeze
Sounds like the door area heater is not working and the tube is freezing up in the door near the dispensor. Try turning off the unit for a day with the door open to see if it suddenly starts working again. That would lead you to believing it was a freeze plug. Rarely does the line kink in the door.
