My research shows that model is only for sale only in Asia, I looked into some similar USA released models and they did NOT have multiple language support so I am thinking that the DCR-TRV9 is only in Japanese.

Just out of curiosity are the markings on the camera body in English or in Japanese?

I have a sony handycam DCR-HC26. After loading in the DV cassette tape and the tape cannot get loaded in and therefore I can't close the tape door. Please help.

Hi,
As per Sony Support, DCR-PC350 is compatible on Vista, however there is an update of picture package available at Sony Support.

Download update and check the camera file transfer operation.

I might have a solution...

Switch on the handycam.
In the bottom left corner there will be two rectangles with writing. Click on right one.
There are two arrows on the left side on the screen. Go down to the third menu (3/3) by tapping the bottom arrow two times.
There should be 5 boxes with writing in them. One of them may say Language, click on it. It is the one to 1 right and 1 bottom of the first information box.
Select the box under the first information box. The one you should choose should say ENGLISH on it.
Done! I hope...

Sony Handycam DCR-TRV70 problem

Is there any other software/way to translate the language of my Camera from Chinese to English Version. The Sony DCR-TRV70 Mini DV Camera appear in Chinese Language.
I can't read this and I want it to transfer to english.

This camera was brought from japan with my wife and I can't read anything because of the chinese language

When i connected DCR-HC40 to my Laptop to download the pictures from Handycam,i cannot download the pictures.IN my laptop i have a Vista Software but it is not supporting picture package 1.0 version,can u give me solution for this how to download the software for Vista
