Radio AUX missing

I have a Kenwood radio and my AUX function is not displayed. It has worked before, but I had to reset the radio because it froze; now the AUX is not there.

How do I turn the AUX back on from the menu?

I Can't seem to find the aux function on my Kenwood 50wx4 radio, any help please? I'm trying to hook up my ipod!

Most times you will have to put the radio into stand by mode, then go into the setup menu. There should be an option in the menu to turn the AUX to ON.

How do I get my AUX Input to work on my Kenwood KDC-135?

Press and hold menu I believe. Once in, scroll through all the parameters untill you come to "Aux Input" then select and turn on. Sorry, can't remember exact buttons. If all else fails, go download the manual from Kenwood.

Changed car battery & Kenwood execolon kdc-X592 AUX is gone

Try pressing 'menu', scroll to "built in aux", and toggle to the 'on' position. Then the aux input should be available again. The radio losing power would have reset any internal memory causing it to go back to factory defalts. Hope this helps

Mode button unresponsive in my 2006 dodge dakota radio.

After sitting all day in the parking lot at work, I started the truck to go home and everything seemed back to normal. There must be some sort of time related reset. I have not tried pushing the MODE button again and probably won't until I need to.

Aux location

There is a RCA cable that comes off the back of the radio and also another cable for 3.5mm (mini-stereo jack) that also comes off the back of the radio. The RCA jacks can be used for "AUX" or "Sub-woofer" and the 3.5mm jack is just for "AUX". Your ipod can use the audio output jack or the headphone jack and plug that into the 3.5 mm jack on the back of the radio. You will need a "3.5mm male" to "3.5mm male" stereo cord that can be purchased at Radio Shack or Best Buy. Then you select "AUX" on the display with the source button to listen to it. You may need to go into the menu and activate the "AUX" input. Check your owners manual for details.

You need to switch the aux function back on and to do this you need to turn the radio on to standby and press and hold the menu button for a few seconds and then use the toggle switch on the right side of the fascia to get to aux and then flick the switch forward to switch the aux on

I have a pioneer DEH-P3000

Hi nhmteam. I have the solution for you: 1. With your DEH-P3000 turned off, press your FUNCtion button. It's a tiny button towards the upper right of the faceplate. Hold it down until you "ALARM OFF" or "ALARM ON" on the display. Release the button. 2. Press the FUNCtion button again and you should see another feature. I don't remember how many features you need to cycle through, but keep releasing and pressing the FUNCtion button until you see "M-CD ON" on the display. If you miss it just keep going and eventually it will come back. 3. On the right side of your faceplate there is a button with 4 arrows. You will need to push the up or down arrow until the display reads "M-CD OFF". If your display already reads "M-CD OFF", kip to the next step. 4. Press and release the FUNCtion button again and you should see "AUX OFF" on the display. Again press the up or down arrow until the display reads "AUX ON". 5. Now, turn on your unit, then press the INPUT button until the display reads "AUX". You are now ready to use your iPod in the way you always did. Keep these instructions for the future since I believe every time you disconnect the unit from the battery the unit will reset itself and disable your iPod cord. Best regards - TomR
