Surround sound problems (by 2 users)

posted by reddogcov on Apr 06, 2008

I have a Genesis Media Labs 5.1 surround sound system and the only speaker outlet that is working is the one labeled (SL- & SL+) could you please give me some advice or maybe send some schematics so that I might give it a try? I,m no expert but with some guidance I might be able to tackle the problem.
Thanks a million!!
Roy

Hi Roy, I am your expert...just wondering if the information i gave you was incorrect? Noticed you gave me a Thanks for trying rating. I have been repairing this type of gear for 25 years.... Just wondering why you gave me the low rating. Thanks for trying is generally reserved for solutions where the solution provider does not really know what they are talking about. I know i am capable of sorting the problem out for you. How did you go with checking your connections and following the manual for ideas first?

regards Graeme

hey again Roy... :)

Hope it would not be too much to ask for you to upgrade this rating, its just that they still push your overall rating down by heaps when they stay, and it would be great if you could upgrade me! :P

Cheers

regards
Graeme
