Question about Audio Players & Recorders
You may indeed have an optics problem with the unit. Can you get access to the internals and clean the laser focal lens? Do this by gentle wiping it with a cotton bud moistened with some Windex. Then a gentle polish with a dry one to be sure no residue smearing is left. Then try again. You did not mention the quality of the discs you are trying to use. Some cheapo products do not work so well... Good luck.
