Question about Panasonic SC-HT920 System

DVD player cuts out during movie

My DVD player cuts out during movies. Sometimes, it will cut out after a few mins of play; other times, after an hour.

It will then reset the movie back to the very beginning menu screen.

CDs play fine though and I have tried unplugging the player on several occaisons to reset it.

Any thoughts?

I have the same problem as well. Hopefully, someone have a solution for it. I hate to throw away the whole system only because one component is broken. Bad to our environment.

I've got the exact same problem with the same model. Don't want to throw away the entire system because one of the components is bad. Bad to our environment. Hopefully, someone will have a solution.

I have had this problem after 1 year of use. I called Panasonic to tell them the issue and they said it is beyond the warranty so they are not willing to do anything about it. I know they know this is a known defect and they are not doing anything to help their customers who paid good money on their system. Lesson learned... next time pay a little more and go with SONY!!!

HDMI audio cutting out

Sometimes it might be the TV, sometimes it might be that HDMI cable having issues with that certain TV. Your best bet would be to get another HDMI cable and see if that helps.

Audio cuts in and out on a lite-on dvdrw shm-165h65

sounds like a codec problem during the conversion from avi to dvd. Try a different burning software program. Try this...instead of burning the conversion...try watching it instead...on the computer...if the volume problems exist there, then it is a software issue...

Dvd player reads no disk..even though the disk is in player, i want to watch the dvd i rented now. help

Some rented discs won't play becauses of scratches and dirt, if other DVD 'S work it is not your player, but if all won't play try a DVD cleaning kit and follow instructions.

Sro 8120 transonic mp3 keeps cutting out like its going flat when its charging a red light comes on sometimes flashes and the device will only play for a few minutes

Taken from the Quickstart User Manual

LED Light 1 (L1) - is by the earphone socket
LED Light 2 (L2) - is by the USB connector

Charging: Please switch on the player before charging. (Push the on/off switch to 'on' )

When charging the battery for the first time it is recommended that the player is charged about 8 hours. Connect the player to an active USB port using the supplied cable. The computer must remain on during the charging process.
Recharging: Recharge the player will take about 3 to 4 hours. When it's charging, L2 will turn on in red, when it's fully charged, L2 will turn to green light.
When playing music, L1 will shine.

Finalize a Disc on Mangavox MWR10D6

No. Generally finalising just writes the unused spaces as unused so the player knows and adds a stop code. The shorter the DVD the longer the finalise. An hour and a half on two hours is plenty of space.
