Most retailers that sell computer stuff have laptop cooling mats. This is a device that you sit your laptop on and it forces air circulation around the bottom of your unit, helping to keep it cool. They normal run 14-25 bucks.

If your using this system at home and can not get an air conditioner for one reason or another they have room coolers based on a different technology and can be rather inexpensive. They are commonly used in server rooms when regular air conditioning just does not work. I can assist in providing more detail on this upon request.

Please keep me posted and updated on your issue. I am here for you and will see your issues out till resolved.

Have a great and wonderful day :)

For desktops you can try adding more high power fans but this may not always help based on how hot it actual gets were your are. Your best case is to go liquid cooling but based on what type of computer this is not doable without getting a new case for your computer.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a wonderful day

    Thank You

Energy management

Start your computer in SAFE MODE by pressing F8 as it's booting up and when you see the Options menu, select the 'Safe Mode with Networking' option. Do some research and see if there are any updates for that software on Lenovo's website. You might not even need that software and might be able to remove it while you're in Safe Mode.

My cooling fan on my mother board start making noise now as soon as you power up the pc it shuts down could it over heat that quickly or did it ruin mother board?

It is possible to burn out a processor in a matter of seconds without cooling. Please do not attempt to restart the unit, until you replace the colling fan on the processor. If it's not the processor fan/heatsink, you may have lucked out, but don't restart it till you replace the fans. The fan that sits on your cpu is the main concern, if it's one of the others the board should shut down automatically in order to stop this scenario from occuring.

Sometimes my computer restarts suddenly.

this problem is due overheating, and you say yo have a C2D with this mobo.... at intel site it said that this mobo works fine with intel P4, Pentium Duo an Celeron but not C2D. Its true that you have 800Mhz FSB and it will detect the micropro.... and work fine but the C2D will overheat the mobo for its need of energy and overheat it so it start restarting. I dont know how much that mobo is going to last but start installing all cooler you can....the mission is to cool down that mobo and micro...
