Unfortunately, ATT cell phone service interferes with electronic equipment. Period. TV's, computers, car radios, amplifiers, etc.. It's a terrible thing.
aux should be 2 point cuming off wive the wires or on the back ov the cd player and red and yellow needs 2 be touching for you live and you earth is the thickest black wire if that dont work then try the fuses
It's possible that the "illumination" wire is not connected or connected improperly. It's also possible that the front panel electrical connections are not making proper contact. Remove the front panel and gently clean the contacts with a pencil eraser.
Also, the CDX-C680 allows you to select either green or amber illumination. One or the other may be defective. Try changing it. Press SHIFT - press "3" (set up) three times - press "5" (right arrow) to change the setting. Also check the setting for "dimmer". ON will result in a dimmed display at all times. AUTO will dim the display whenever the headlights are turned on (if the wiring is connected properly). OFF will result in the brightest display at all times.
Do you have the remote turn on lead hooked up to solid blue wire from the back of the deck? Your amp shoild be hooked up to Bluw w/ white strip as the solid blue wire shuts off when the tuner is off, its used only for the power antenna.
