Question about Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Camera
When I turned my camera on this morning I noticed that there is a thin blue line that goes down the right side of the display screen. The line is there all the time, whether I'm on camera, video or playback mode.
I bought the camera less than 6 months ago, and I'm sure I could take it back to Staples. I'd rather not though if there is something I can do to fix it. Any ideas?
No there's no simple way to fix that problem. To correct it would require opening the camera, thus voiding your warranty. Take it back for exchange. If it's longer than Staples will honor, then contact Canon directly at 1-800-828-4040 or 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666). Here's your warranty:
