If the game itself works, but the screen keeps flashing, try pressing the reset button.

It should be only if a game isn't put in and starting, is that the prob?

Flashing power light

Internal damage. May need replacment of various parts, or a new unit.. It could be a bad ac adapter that is causing this problem or it could be a bad capacitor or capacitors inside of the console then.

What color is the power light when the system shuts off?
Red: If the power light is red, or flashing red, when the system turns off, then the system's battery needs to be charged.

Blue: If the power light is blue when the system turns off, then there appears to be a problem with the system and it will need to be repaired.

If the orange recharge indicator light blinks while the system is plugged in and charging, then it is likely that the battery is not installed properly.

If you have ensured that the battery is installed properly but the orange light still blinks, check to make sure that the battery is a licensed by Nintendo. The only licensed Nintendo DSi battery will have the model number "TWL-003" (Nintendo DSi) or "UTL-003" (Nintendo DSi XL) and will display Nintendo's logo.

My nintendo wii power light is yellow

The wii power light is yellow because you have wiiconnect24 turned on in the wii system options. Wiiconnect24 constantly keeps your wii connected to the internet by staying in a low power mode, if you receive any messages while int his mode the disk opening will flash blue. If you don't want this option just go into the wii systems settings and turn it off. If you wish to have it but want to turn it fully off just hold the power button on the main console until the power light turns red.
