Need to take the heater apart to change the fan motor. Can't figure a good way to take it apart. Took the two feet off, slid the metal back part way, but it does not come all the way apart. Took the logs out, seems no way to get to the heat box. What am I missing?

Thanks so much for your help. The heater assembly did not look like it would come out.
Hello,
Disconnect power to unit before attempting to repair unit.
1.With the front door closed, gently place the stove, door side up on a flat surface.
2.Remove the heater assembly retaining screws located on the bottom of the stove with a screwdriver.
3.Lower the heater assembly off of the bottom of the stove being careful not to damage any of the wiring.
4.Disconnect the wiring clips and connections noting their original location.
5.Remove the heater assembly mounting screw and remove the heater assembly.
6.Properly orienate the new heater assembly and connect all of the wiring clips and connections.
7.Reassemble in the reverse order as above.
Pleas note, if you are not comfortable to do this please call your local dealer on Dimplex or go to the Dimplex website and they can locate someone for you.
