Treadmill problems. I have a fairley new treadmill (it's a rebok) that has stopped working. when i plug it in, turn it on, and press start, the motor that spins the tread will spin almost once around and then stop. If I press start again it wont even spin once again-I have to cut power then press start again, it will then spin one more revolution. I took the motor apart. It is fine. I tried the motor w/o the belt- no difference. There is also no binding noise or smoking. there is however a red light on a circuit board that flashes weakley when i hit the start? I also cant get the treadmill to incline or decline, and that has nothing to do with the motor. what do u think? Fuse, loose connection? where should i begin?

Okay, sorry about the clarification request, I saw where the model number was on your request. Your tv is a Brocksonic Model # CTGV-5463TCT, correct?

According to Brocksonic this model tv does not come with a headphone jack. Sorry.

Why does my RCA TV cycle through channels on its own?

this is the same type of problem happening with other rca models and I know it is the EPROM CHIP but why this is failing is either because of design flaw , dirty enviroment that they were made in , to much voltage or current to the chip or too much of a draw from the chip causing it to fail . Or even a random frequency from the IR sensor or its circut I'm still investigating and testing.
leave the tv unplugged for at least 3 weeks durring this time resolder any solder that don't look good , I did this and it lasted for about 6 months(always plugged in to the wall) before it started doing it again. model # 27v412t

Need codes to control symphonic 27" tv using rca universal remote control type rcr312w

  1. These instructions come from the RCA website. The crucial step is to keep pressing the reverse button.
  2. Turn on the component (the tv, dvd, etc).
  3. Hold the TV (or DVD) button and the on/off button at the same time. It will stay lit.
  4. Press the play button every five seconds until the component turns off.
    • Each time the Play button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks ten times and a block of 10 codes is sent to your component. This process continues until all the codes in the Code Lists have been searched. If the component has not turned off after all codes have been searched, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks four times, turns off, and the Auto Code Search Entry method is exited.
  5. When the component turns off, press and release the REVERSE button, then wait two seconds to see if the component turns on again.
  6. If the component does not respond, continue to press the REVERSE button EVERY TWO SECONDS UNTIL THE COMPONENT TURNS ON again. This will isolate the correct code in the last block of codes sent. Each time the REVERSE button is pressed, the illuminated ON-OFF button blinks.
    • If the REVERSE button is accidentally pressed after the component responds, press and release the FORWARD button. Wait two seconds to see if the component turns off again.
  7. To save the new code, press and release the STOP button.
  8. The illuminated ON-OFF button turns off. You must press the STOP button to save the code.
Tips
  • Turn on TV
  • Hold in the TV button and the ON/OFF button until the ON/OFF button stays lit
  • Press the PLAY button every 5 seconds until the device turns off
  • Press the REVERSE button every 2 seconds until the device turns on
  • Press the STOP button to lock in the code...the remote should work now.
  • Important to press reverse button every 2 seconds, not just once.
Good Luck!!

Power on problems

Having to press the power button multiple times before the set comes on is usually caused by low standby voltages in the power supply or bad connections on the printed circuit board. The "D" board is not your problem. Most likely there is bad capacitor in the 9 volt standby supply.

TV turns itself off after a few seconds, no picture at all

As far as fixing goes, you might as well get a new TV... Unless its a LARGE EXPENSIVE HOLY $%^# TV, It will cost more to fix, than to just buy a new one, unless its under warranty, which being an older model as that (or so im reading) It may not be covered.

Try unplugging the TV, and while unplugged, hold down the power button for a full minute (yes, with the plug NOT in the wall) after a minute, plug it back in, and try. Its a hard reset. If it still does not work, and you've tried different outlets, It's probably a repair issue, and you'll need to get someone to fix it, or just junk it :-/
