I connected to AC and recharged, turned on and got...

I connected to ac and recharged turned on and got "remove cassette" message. Opened case to eject camcorder made noises but did not eject. After much fussing I got the tape to eject but now it won't return to closed position. I have been told by a technician that Canon no longer makes parts for this camcorder. Is there any hope for this device?

Why won't my compressor on my dometic not come on?

It really makes no difference what the AC unit is in, it's still AC. I've come across this situation many times, and found that unit is just low on Freon. Once, and only once, I hound a loose thermostat connection at the unit, so the compressor didn't know it was supposed to come on. Nonetheless, Check the connection AT the unit. If good, you'll have to get an AC man to recharge it because the charge line end is soldered shut. IF by chance there IS a fitting with a plastic cap on it, like on your tire fill, get a recharge kit with connecting line and recharge it with ONE canister of Freon. Get the kit from auto parts distributor, remove the plastic cap from the AC charge line, open the piercing valve on the kit line and connect to the can. DON"T pierce the top yet. Connect the other end to the AC charge line finger tight, now pierce the top of the canister with the T-handle/knob AFTER starting the AC to suck the Freon into the system and screw the piercing pin back out part way to release the Freon. NOTE: To get all the stuff out of the canister, stick the canister into a bucket of hot water you took up with you. Once the canister is empty, remove the kit line from the charge line, trash the empty, hide the kit line somewhere in case needed again(won't have to buy another kit, just Freon bottles), put the unit cover back on and stay cool.

The power on the Panasonic Palmcorder IQ PV-A206 turns itself off. I've tried plugging directly and with a fully charged battery, no luck.

please make this test and fix it. God bless you

If the video camera doesn't work, make sure the battery is charged (see The Battery Recharger Fix-It Guide) or replace a battery that won't hold a charge. Make sure the AC adapter is connected properly. Clean any dirty contacts on the battery, charger, and AC adapter with a cotton swab dipped in denatured alcohol. Remove corrosion with a clean pencil eraser, then wipe the area with an artist's brush to remove any debris. Find and test the fuse, if any.
If the power goes off soon after starting, recharge a low battery. Also, turn the video camera power off, then turn it back on and eject the tape. If the problem persists, check the fuse
If the battery won't charge, clean the contacts and fully discharge the battery, then recharge it. If the problem persists, replace the battery

If the video camera works intermittently, remove and reseat the to establish good contact. If necessary replace the fuse

During travelling in AC Bus and operting the camcorder, suddenly a message 'Condensation, operation paused please wait' appeard on screen. After wating 10 to 15 minutes as the message was still there, I...

There is a DEW sensor within the camera as a protection as when there is condensation due to cool condition within the tape can get chewed into the cylinder head drum.
So all what you need to do next time is to keep it in a warm place, use a hair dryer slighly into the door after ejecting tape or you can put the set On overnight without any harm.
When you travel keep the camera covered with a blanket and do not expose the camera to direct AC vent.

    Will not rewind

Sony is pretty secretive about the :23 code. It can't be found anywhere. However, to service the C:31 code, Sony recommends you do the following:

    1. Turn off the camcorder.
    2. Remove the battery or disconnect the AC power adapter for 60 seconds.
    3. Insert the battery or reconnect the AC adapter.
    4. Turn on the camcorder.
    5. If the error message appears, service may be required.

If your camcorder still shows the same error code, then you'll have to send in your camcorder for service.

The cassette is stuck and the player will not eject it. when you turn it on it just makes a beeping noise.

Follow this procedure to troubleshoot if the cassette compartment will not open or the tape is stuck and will not eject.

IMPORTANT: If your camcorder model has a RESET button, first try pressing this button. If there is no RESET button, or pressing the button does not resolve the issue, continue with the troubleshooting steps below.
    1. Turn off the camcorder.
    2. Remove the battery from the camera.
    3. Remove the AC power supply from the camera.
    4. Slide the power switch on the camera to the VTR , VCR or CAMERA mode for 15 seconds.
    5. Slide the power switch back to the OFF position.
    6. Connect the AC power supply to the camera.
    7. Attempt to open the cassette compartment.

    Can not eject tape

I had same problem, while transferring media from TRV-16 to DVD, tape would not play, then would not eject. This after transferring several tapes to DVD. I tried several things over the last couple months that did not work before finally getting it open today. It did me no good to remove several of the outer panels that were each held by two "tiny" phillips head screws each. Went to the internet, found your post, also found a post that referred me back to SONY page which follows.......

    5. Slide the power switch back to the OFF position.
    6. Connect the AC power supply to the camera.
    7. Attempt to open the cassette compartment.
"NOTE: If the issue is still unresolved after completing all of the troubleshooting steps, service may be required."

After I did this, I could hear a whirring sound when I hit eject, although nothing came out. While the whirring was going on, I pulled up and out with constant pressure and the cassette holder opened. The tape had jammed apparently as the little protective plastic tape guard was jammed partially open when I pulled the cassette out. Good Luck and don't be afraid to put a little pressure on the door if you can hear the door trying to open.

Now I turn to recovering the tape, but having grown up with cassette decks, don't believe it will be a problem.
