    didnt drop it

    not wet

    idk what happened

i plug it in, it turns on without me pressing any buttons... like it should when you plug it in, but then says low battery, powering off, makes the three little bleeps, but like 5 times lower and slower than the normal bleeps, and shuts off

This problem just occurred for the 2nd time. The first time we traded it in ( with insurance) and got the same phone. Three months later, now this phone will not charge. 1 day it charges fine, the next...no.

I've noticed in the last week that the display turns off immediately after connecting to the charger. Now I'm getting the low-volume beeps showing low battery. The phone will not charge. I've even tried my car charger and that doesn't seem to work either.

Send it back to where you got it. It is broken and still under guarantee.

Did you try a forced reboot? Hold the volume up and power button for 16 seconds until you see the Recovery Console. If that works, you just need a new battery.

Check and make sure the charger is working, both the cord and the connector. You can either use a different charger to see if your phone charges, and/or charge another device with the charger/cord. If you can't be sure, it's an inexpensive fix to either buy a new charger/cord. If both are working well on other devices, check the website of the phone manufacturer.

It is probably the charging port. It seems to be a common issue with this model of phone.

If it is the charger port on th eD900, You have 3 options.

1. get it repaired, under warranty if possible
2. Get a new one
3.Get an external battery charger and charge battery separate from phone.Another battery and charger will set you back about 10 dollars on ebay

HTC S710 - Battery issue

Hi guys

if u buy new battery for around 35$... its creepy thing that it again sucks within
6 month
so follow these procedure that i really got good response

1)Buy the new battery from any other dealers (u can use Nokia (std) or LG, Micromax, Onida... etc)
having same specifications as 1050mAh Lion-POLYMER 3.7v and having equivalent Size that fit into the case.

2)Now open ur dead battery, remove the sticker slowly, u wil get the polythene bag carrying the charge sheets
.
3)Please note that dont not disturb this polythene bag... (cutting, drilling or pinning), else it starts burning.

4)U will see a circuit above the polyhthene bag having two poles (+ve n -ve) just cut the poles of bag from the circuit and keep the bag aside

5)Now do the same procedure with new batt and remove the polythene bag.. and soilder with
the dead battery circuit. (check the +ve n -ve by multimeter)

5)Re-assemble with insulation tape and recondition it perfectly.
now check poles bofore starting.

Note : i got good result from this and i m getting 18-19hrs standby and 11-15hrs usage. Do it on ur own risk...and i m not responsable for ny harm)

Well it sounds like a combo of both. Definitly get the battery replaced again. The phone itself probably needs new software. take it your service provider's corp store to get the software updated.

Sounds like the charger's defective. Did it get dropped accidentally? Take both the phone and the charger back where you got it. They should fix the problem for you. Battery in the phone is probably dead and just needs charging.
