Question about Pioneer DEH-P790BT

Display Please help me with info. on how to stop my Pioneer DEH P790bt from switching display background from dark to light every minute or so. This is very annoying. Thanks Todd

Go into your tools menu by pressing the center of the multi knob.(the volume control knob) turn same knob to bring up the entertainment field, press center of knob to set then turn till you get to the prompt about alternating screen. switch to no. done.

Pioneer deh p790bt display only works when open and goes out when faceplate is closed. everything works but no display.


The ribbon cable is bad. This is easily repairable. I think Best Buy still does them or call your local electronics repair shop.

Set clock for pioneer deh 6300ub


  1. Press "M.C." to get to the display setting mode.
  2. Now Press"M.C." to select the segment of the clock display you want to program ie hours, minutes.
  3. Turn "M.C." to make the adjustment to the numbers on the clock.
  • Also, to turn the clock display on or off press and hold the "TAG" button.

Pioneer DEH-11 how do I set the clock


Hi,
1. Switch the source OFF.
2. Enter the Time setting mode.Hold ^ button for 2 seconds
3. Select "Hour" or "Minute"
with the 2/3 buttons.
4. Set as desired time with the
5/° buttons.
As soon as you switch to "Minute", the seconds start counting from 00.
5. Cancel the Time setting mode.
Note:

• Holding down the AUDIO button for 2 seconds also cancels the Time setting mode.
• To turn the time display ON.

The time display disappears temporarily when you perform another operation, but the time
indication returns to the display after 25 seconds.
Note:
• When the sources are OFF, the Time appears on the display. Pressing the CLOCK button switches
the Time display ON/OFF.

Set time on Pioneer DEH-P4400


Press FUNCTION to select the time.

Press FUNCTION until the time appears in the

display.

2 Select the portion of the time display you

wish to set with 2/3.

Pressing 2/3 will select a portion of the clock

display:

HOUR-MINUTE

As you select portions of the clock display the

portion selected will blink.

3 Select the correct time with 5/?.

Pressing 5 will increase the selected hour or

minute. Pressing ? will decrease the selected
hour or minute.

Display flashing on my deh-p6500


It has what is called reverse mode which flashes to protect the display to turn feature off please follow these steps.
Press the 5 numbered button when power to this unit is turned off while the ignition switch is set to acc or on will cancel the reverse mode and stop the flashing. Hope this helps.

How to turn off alternating display.


turn off the unit and push the entertainment button or the display button it will beep once flashing stops lol i had the same problome im not sure what button it is thought doesent hurt to try them all its the second one on the bottom of the unit under the display but the unit has to be off

Connecting XM radio to my unit.


You have to tell your XM radio receiver what station to send the FM signal then you tune your radio to that station. Thats how my model worked when i used it.

How to change the time on a Pioneer DEH 1500 car stereo:
With the radio off, select the 'clock' (upper left button) to display the time.
Press and hold the 'audio' (upper right button) until the time display blinks.
