Makes ice but does not dispense the ice. It does not dispense water either

I will never buy a Kenmore again. Water does not dispense. It is only 1 1/2 years old!

Mine dispenses water, but not the ice. The screwdrive mechanism for moving the ice forward works, but the clear wheel spins too freely to capture the ice and push it into the dispenser or crusher areas.

Ice maker not working Kenmore model 106.55226400

Look for an ice cube lodged in the fingers IM. Get a hair dryer and melt that dude. No ice cube? Add some water to the IM mold. If it kicks out some ice but makes no more then you is gonna need a water valve. If it don't kick out no ice then you is gonna need a ice mold thermostat. Either one is very easy and cheap to fix. let me know Kimosabe.

New Kenmore Elite ice dispenser not working but water is

Should be no longer than 24hrs. Is the freezer good and cold.. has to reach a certain temp before icemaker activates. Might take little longer if you put a lot of warm things in freezer or refrig. when you made the change. Is there any water or ice in the icemaker itself? Water may not be getting to icemaker call them back out if it dont work soon thats what warrantys for :0)
