Question about Acer Aspire 9300 Notebook

Acer aspire 9300 will not always start up

This happened for the first time yesterday. My laptop switched itself off in mid-use. It would not switch on and no lights were working when I plugged in the adaptor, it was basically dead. About 15mins later I managed to switch it on and charge it, it was fine last night and again this morning, but this afternoon it would not start up again, it has now though, is it the battery or a loose wire?

Try this:

When you plug it in, there should be an indicator light saying it is plugged in. See if that light fluctuates (going on and off) - if it does, its your adaptor cord, all my laptops (and I have had quite a few) - have had to have new cords. (I am quite rough with my equiptment).

I have lost my wireless connection for my Acer Aspire 9300-5349
Hopefully you just shut down the "RADIO" and a switch will turn it back on.

Look on the far left hand sideand there is a row of buttons.

Just to the left of the CAPS LOCK button is a switch for the wireless to turn on and off.

When you get it back up and running download and save the instructions at this site.

My mousepad is working but the cursor between left and right button doesn't work? I have a ACER Aspire 9300
1) Go to control panel (either with the help of keyboard or mouse)
2) Open Mouse
3) On Button Tab Select Button Configuration ( Switch Primary and Secondary Buttons)
4) Also Check your Touch Pad Driver Software

My acer aspire 9300 switches on the hdd flashes twice and thats it.... the screen stays black and nothing else happens
hello

i have seen this issue before .. all AMD based processors do the same thing. In 90% of the issues, its a over heating problem : the ehast sink is not dissipating enough heat from both the video and CPU chips that are in the same realestate of the mainboard .

i have inbcluded soem links for you to review. if this doesn't help you , please answer these questions and let me know

  • when did this start occuring ?
  • did you add/remove any hardware or software recently
  • have you contacted Acer to figure out your laptop issue ? if so what have they told you ? if you haven't contacted them you should let them know so they can document it and try to fix or identify the problem ?
  • what operating system do you have?
  • have you experienced any BLUE SCREEM issues besides black screens ?

It maybe the problem of your graphics processor,so you can't see the NOOK working normally .Your Acer Aspire 9300 battery haven't effect to this mattery ,why you tried taking it out !

If there is power beside you,why not connect you laptop to the family power,it will be good to your acer aspire 9300 battery life .Pay attention to your acer aspire 9300 laptop have been 2 years old,i think it most properly some problem to your acer aspire 9300 battery.

My Acer Aspire 9300 laptop wont turn on......light indicators are on (motherboard light blinks once, light bulb and battery lights on) but no power to fans so no start up. have had this happen before but...
Very possible that something has short circuited on the motherboard. I would also try re-seating the memory located on the bottom of the laptop(which could be loose explaining the intermittent nature of the issue). On an IBM I once fixed that had the same issue I took out the CMOS battery and battery for one week and then re-installed and that fixed the issue. But good luck to you!

Try this

Remove all power from the computer
Laoptop: remove the battary & the power plug
Desk top: remove the power plug

Hold the power button for 60 seconds

Plug your PC on and reboot

no diplay on my acer aspire 9303 wsmi, even with monitor when i switch on it fips once on hdd led and power led always on but no display, cd rom can open sometimes even fan start if it has been on for sometime indicating that it is working no logon sound only beeps the speak once
