The owner's guide for the IS-LCDTV32 is here: http://www.insignia-products.com/t-user_manuals.aspx bottom of the page and be patient it's a slow loader..

As for the comcast remote code you can look that up at: http://www.remotecodelist.com/remotes/

Follow down to the model comcast remote that you have and click on the link for the codes.
Good Luck!

All cable company's have a remote that can also control your TV. Flip your cable remote over and find the part number on it. On rare occasions, it might be inside the battery department instead of the back. Type that part number into your internet browser with the words guide or manual and you should find the manual u need to program your TV into your cable remote. If all else fails, call your cable provider.

With the remote of dish you will control the dish box. The tv control is only necesary to set the signal on channel 3 or Aux to get the signal from the dish box.

Now Your main remote will be dish remote control. Set your tv on channel 3, then turn on the dish box, and use normally.

Samsung screen goes grey with green letter? Have Comcast cable

When the green letters appear, turn off the cable box only.
If the screen changes, the problem is in the cable box or hookup.
If the letters stay, there is a problem in your TV.

Lip sync

Vizio HDTV- Lips out of sync

Anyone with a new Vizio E601i-A3 60" or 70" HDTV that is having audio "Lips out of sync problems" with a cable or satellite box.

On Comcast cable boxes (or others), here's what you need to do: FIND MENU for AUDIO or HDMI setup on CABLE BOX or Satellite Box.

FOR COMCAST

1. Turn on TV and have Cable box Turned OFF.

2. Press MENU on COMCAST REMOTE.

3. Go to AUDIO Setting OR HDMI Setting. (On cable or Sat. BOX)

4. Change setting from Auto to L-PCM. (Turn off cable box to exit)

This should resolve any "out of sync" lips to picture after commercials on HD channels.

*This is a handshaking issue from the cable box to the Vizio E601i-A3

CC was always on and working fine then yesterday everything worked fine on our Sony Wega Trinton 27" square TV and all of a sudden it does not work on any channel. We go through a box with our cable...

I recommend turning on the cc "on" in the cable box and see if that helps you out. Let me know if that works for you... Good luck... HDTV GURU JAY.

52LG70 sometimes turns off and on periodically

I had the same problem. I changed the 4-3 setting on the motorola cable box. Turn off your cable box and press menu. My 4-3 setting was set to auto. If you turn it off, you lose the 4-3 aspect on most channels. I changed mine to 480p and so far it seems to be working. Worth a shot.

LC32OEM9 says Not Supported Format on HDMI Input. It worked when we first hooked up the TV. Then it started working sporadically now it very very rarely works and when it does it only works for maybe 15...

I'm thinking the Comcast DVR box maybe putting out weird HDMI signals and the TV can't translate it. I would call the Comcast people on this one.
In the meantime, I would try finding another source the uses a HDMI cable to rule out the TV as the problem. Basically, testing the TV to see if the problem still happens when you use something else than the Comcast box. Try a Blueray player, Playstation 3, or Xbox. Just something that uses a HDMI cable.

Toshiba 62hx94 cant shut off closed caption have comcast cable How do I turn off closed caption on my TV. It suddenly turned on. can' turn off closed captioning 20" ws

The problem was with the Motorfolla Comcast cable box not my T.V. . I turned off my Comcast cable box, pressed menu on the remote to the cable box. This made a 16:9 ratio appear on the cable box's LED read out, and a bluish screen appear on my television. One of the options on my television was to turn on and off closed captioning. Therfore, I turned off closed captioning and the problem was solved.
