HI,

TRY taking the battery out completly and unplug it for a few minutes. reinstall the battery and plug it back in and see if it resets.
Do you record a lot on the Nexus? If you do and don't listen live very much, the "update subscription" could be XM's way of shutting down the unit if you don't listen to at least 8 hours of live XM per month. Just a wild guess on my part

Also try these stepd im sure they will fix your problem:
from the "Live XM" mode:
Settings - Setup - Restore Defaults

Remember you will losse all your favourite channels.

Also try the same thing from the "My Music" mode.

Goodluck,
Please don't forget to accept the solution as fixya.

To fix it, first try removing your battery to reset it

I originally tried the following from the "Live XM" mode:

Settings - Setup - Restore Defaults

That didn't seem do anything for me. Then I tried the same thing from
the "My Music" mode. That fixed it!!! The only thing that I noticed
that I lost was my channel favorites (hardly a worry at all). All of my
saved songs and playlists are still there!!!

Hopefully this will help a poor soul in need

I had also been experiencing the lock-ups in the past. It kinda
sucks, but that was also easily resolved in my case by holding the
power switch for several seconds. The amount of time it would take to
work again after turning the power on again would vary. Sometimes I
would have to wait a couple of minutes. It would just show the product
logo during that time. So if this happens to you, you may have to just
be a little patient before just switching it off and giving up.

You should also try and upgrade the firmware on it if it isn't the newest version

My volume button doesnt work an shows no display when i turn it up and down? Everything else works.

If you have a device like the Nexus 6P or Nexus 9 running stock Android, then these are the steps required to boot into Recovery mode:
  1. Hold down the Power key and select Power off. If the touchscreen is unresponsive, then you can simply keep holding down the Power key for several seconds until the device turns off.
  2. Press and hold the Power key and the Volume down key. You should see the Android mascot on his back, a bunch of information about your device, and Start at the top of the screen.
  3. To navigate through the menu options, you use the Volume up and Volume down keys. The Power key is used to make a selection. Press Volume down twice, and you should see Recovery mode in red up at the top right. Press the Power key to select it.
  4. The white Google logo will pop up followed by the Android mascot on his back again with the words No command underneath.
  5. Press and hold the Power key and the Volume up key for around three seconds, and then let go of the Volume up key, but keep pressing Power.
  6. You should see the Android system recovery options pop up at the top of the screen. Use the Volume keys to highlight the options and the Power key to select the one you want.

My Sansa e200 series is stuck on the splash screen and would not response on any or cannot be recognized by computer. Please assist

Battery and Black screen Blue ring: Remove the back and check and see if the battery isn't fully connected
I put a folded peace of paper and put it on top of the battery also push softly but firmly on the Rubber rectangle above the battery (This is the Chipset For the screen, Black screen Blue ring ) and put the back on.
Sansa Not Recognized: Try connecting it to another computer the back straight to the motherboard thIs should be USB 2.0 and see if it will recognize it as sansa or Drive/removable drive. if it does then download the sansa update software and install it. Make sure you disconnect the sansa and connect it when asked. This will update your sansas firmware and add the Usb Mode. Try to connect it to your computer at home it should recognize IF not try a laptop.... link for update software (http://mp3support.sandisk.com/sansa/Installer/1082/SansaUpdaterInstall.exe) download to a flash drive much easier. Make sure USB mode is MSC
Recovery Mode may also allow your computer to recognize the sansa

RESET: Go into the settings and scroll down to reset all, push center button, scroll to yes, push center this will restore factory settings.....
Reset All
NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVANCED OPERATION AND RESTORES ALL SETTINGS
TO THE FACTORY DEFAULTS. NORMAL USERS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED
TO PERFORM THIS OPERATION!
If your device freezes up press the Menu button and hold for 15 seconds.
This is like a power down of the device. Once you perform the reset, the adjustments you made during last operation
will be gone.
This is what it states in the manual for the 260 sansa Page 29
Recovery Mode also resets system settings when unplugged...

Recovery Mode: download the update software and install then lock your sansa hold in the rec key on the left at the same time push the menu/power button this will take you to recovery mode then connect to the computer Start the update software if it doesn't start automatic goto /start /all programs /Sandisk/sansa updater/ sansa updater and start it up manually... follow instructions on the updater and the sansa. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_95hLqZxCHc&feature=related here is a link to a kid showing you how to goto recovery mode.
Update software from this link..
and install the software before you recover

Blank screen

This has happened to my radio several times after I've dropped it. This is how I fixed the problem:

1) Take the radio out of the cradle and let it play until the battery runs low and
the radio can no longer play.

2) Put the radio back into the cradle, plug in the power cord. When it comes on
the screen should no longer be blank.

Screen reads FACTORY DIAG MODE

I had the "Factory Diag Mode" and was dismayed that I could not find a solution in any of my online searches. But I finally got it to work with only a minor side-effect, so I thought I'd share.

I originally tried the following from the "Live XM" mode:
Go settings, setup, restore defaults, restore setting only.

That didn't seem do anything for me. Then I tried the same thing from the "My Music" mode.
That fixed it!!!
The only thing that I noticed that I lost was my channel favorites (hardly a worry at all). All of my saved songs and playlists are still there!!!

Nexus 25 frozen screen

Mine did that and I just futzed around with it (take the battery out, then put the unit in the charger). Stuff like that. Also watch the power supply for the charger! Mine read 5V ok until I plugged it in. Then it dropped to 4V. I bought a whole new radio before I figgured it out. (I'm using an old PC PS for the 5V now.)
