You must have a cell phone provider plan or pay as you go plan. Also check to make sure your card is valid for that phone.Make sure you even have one in there.Make sure your battery is fully charged.Good Luck.

How do I unlock a motorola fido c261 ?

To Unlock the Motorola C261 from canada Fido Network Lock,Get the Unlock code from here
Prounlocking.com and Unlock it...Follow the Instructions Below and Unlock it step by step...

Motorola C261 Unlocking InstructionsWarning : Do not enter any wrong unlock codes on your Motorola C261 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your Motorola C261 mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.
1 - Switch ON your Motorola C261 with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card,
2 - Phone will display "Enter Special Code",
3 - You can now enter the Unlock Code.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Motorola C261 is locked to.

WARNING: If one of theses messages appear :

- "Contact Service Provider"
- "Tampert Alter"
- "Wait before enter special Code"
- "Contact Service'

It's because you or somebody already entered too many wrong codes, you just have to leave the Motorola C261 ON with the errors message and after 40 minutes to 2 hours the message "Enter Code Special" will appear again!

buy a new mobile or take it back to the carrier that you bought it from....that is a board issue with the phone which is a manufacturers' fault unless you damaged the phone on your own.
