Question about Whirlpool ER6AHKXPQ Top Freezer Refrigerator

$400 Whirlpool frig -- not come on.

I hve two of these -- there is power to the unit (light goes on) BUT the unit noes not kick on -- EVER, There are relatively new and clean and don't work at all. I FOund the time aned moved it along and it "clicked" But still nothing did not come on. Any ideas?



COnsidering my hot water heaters experiences with lowes and whirlpool, I will buy no appliences there again.

    After a power outage, and power is restored to the refrigerator, there is power to the unit, light is on however the unit does not restart cooling. It has occured two times. I have to unplug the unit and then plug it in again and the unit resets and begins cooling.

Compressor issue either the relay is bad or the compressor, if less tahn a year old it is under warranty

take the kick panel off and reach up the right side where the door lock is. there is a release pull down that releases the door.

Refrigerators not cooling


no reset but the frigs do have overload circuit that will shut compressor down,the frigs. compressors need a certain about of amps to start and to run ,what is the amp rating on your generator?let me know-mike
