HOW CAN I CONNECT A MIXER TO A TECHNICS SA-DX940 AV

I used the manual downloaded from http://www.manuals365.com/technics/sadx940.html

Try using the final stereo output of the mixer as the input to the CD or Tape or VCR inputs.and use the switches on the fromt of the DX940 as necessary.
The specificatios state input sensitivity is 27 mY so your mixer needs a low output..
No reason it shouldn't work.

I need to know how to hook up the wires. I don't have an owners manual. I have a mixer that I would like to use and I do have a manual for that. Thanks, Mark

If your receiver has pre-amp in and out, go from out to the in on the mixer, then out of the mixer to in on the receiver.

Anything else is a kludge.

How do I hook up my tascam fw1082 to a mixing board?

Hi, There are two ways you can connect it up. You have a TRS (Tip Ring Sleeve) monitor output that could be patched into the inputs of any analog mixer, balanced high level inputs.
You also have a S/PDIF stereo out. If a digital mixer doesn't accept S/PDIF you can get a converter to change S/PDIF to an AES, which any pro digital mixer will work with. I think HOSA has one for about $60.00, you might find something on Ebay as well.
Here is a Link to the TASCAM Spec page for you FW-1082

http://tascam.com/product/fw-1082/specifications/

I hope this helps,
Best Regards,
Mark

I have a Behringer UB2222FX-Pro Mixer. The effects control knob (turn/push) has broken below the face of the mixer. Can this part be replaced and where can I get it? Thanks

You need to find a pro audio repair shop to have that repaired. OR you can send it in to Behringer. To my knowledge parts are not available to just buy for them. You'll find that the switch you're ref. to, is soldered to circuit board.

Club owned unit with no instruction manual.

Is your mixer by any chance the EMX2200?

If so, you can download the manual here:

(This manual covers multiple models)

Hi danjan

Sounds like you have a faulty master level control, or dry solder joints connecting it. There are a few things that you can do to sure this. .
  1. Pop the unit apart so you can get access to the control solder side of the printed Circuit Board.
  2. First, visually check the soldering to the control where it connects to the board,
  3. If soldering to it looks ok, then try a squirt of CRC 2-26 contact cleaner lubricant into the internals of the master control.
  4. Before replacing it you need to be sure that the pot is faulty is to look for audio in the center wiper of connection of the control. You will need some test gear to pursue this level of diagnosis
  5. If you have audio in and out from the pot, then there is a failure after the pot in the summing amplifier stages. No audio into the pot points to the stage prior to it.
If you have no experience with this sort of repair work to high density surface mount circuitry, then I strongly urge you get an audio tech to have a look at it for you;:) This sort of repair expect to set you set you back $40-80 across my workbench, depending on what needed to be done. Good Luck
