Question about Epson Stylus C48 InkJet Printer
I have a epson c48 series, which has worked previously, but since fitting new ink cartridges the printer is displaying a constant error (red light on top of printer). Each time the printer is restatrted it makes a chattering noise as if the print heads are trying to move but will not allow anything to be printed. Ay suggestions?

It sounds as though your print head got jammed and did not resturn to its 'parking place'
Open the cover and look at the printing head (where the ink sits).
Is it located to the very far right or is a couple of inches out from the right?
If it is out, gently push it back to the right as far as it will go, then power it back on, it should do all of its checks as normal and the head will move a few times, but it should return to the far right and then be ready for printing.
Check there is no paper jammed anywhere and reload any paper.
Try to print again
Does it now work??
