Hi,
The black and white screen problem means the lens sensor is spoiled due to over exposure to heat. Its better to give it to olympus service centre. If your camera is under warranty period its well and good they will replcae the lense sensor for free of cost.

Thank you !!

White LCD Screen disolay.

Sadly it sounds like the screen has been broken, often times any white on an lcd screen mean that the liquid crystals have been damaged, most likely from dropping the camera or bumping it into something. I had the same thing happen to an old camera of mine. Sorry for the bad news, but it is probably just as or more expensive to fix the screen than it is to just buy a new camera unless it is a very expensive professional camera.

The actual working part of the camera is not affected as the picture is taken properly. But the display part of the camera is only affected. The wetness might have penetrated across the sides of display screen to the inner parts. The display part needs replacement..

MY NIKON D50 SCREEN HAS THE WHITE AREAS OF PICTURES FLASH BLACK AND WHITE

This screen shows areas of the photo that are overexposed slightly.
It flashes them to help you.
You get to this screen by pressing the up or down arrows when displaying the pictures you have taken.

To change it just press the up arrow when the camera is showing the screen until you get a display without flashing.

Once you have done this the display will be steady.
If you get any other screen in future you may have accidently pressed the arrow again.
Just cycle thru the displays to get back to steady.

All pictures taken are just Blackness

is there a view finder on this camera? often when there is a screen and a viewfinder there is a button to toggle between them, my sony camera has such a button although it is not a cybershot. i imagine the button says "dis" or "LCD" and just needs to be toggled. if the display were bad you would not be able to view pictures on it. display works must be configuration issue.

Pictures are blur

Hi,

Your pictures are blurry because the camera did not focus properly on the subject.

First, turn on the camera in any picture taking mode (or video mode), then look at the screen or viewfinder. There should be four white corners in the center of the camera display. This is your targeting area.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Aim the camera at your subject so this center area is directly on it.

2. Press the shutter button lightly, not all the way down. Wait for a second or two WITHOUT RELEASING YOUR FINGER. If the white corners turn green, keep the finger on the button and press it all the way.

(Once the screen flashes black, a picture is taken and you can release the finger).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the targeting area turns red and blinks, then the camera has not focused. You can to try to focus again by following step 1 and 2. If a picture is taken when the targeting area is red, then the picture will be blurry.

If there is no targeting area, then you can still focus by aiming the camera at your subject. Now follow step 2. A green box will appear on the subject, then a sharp picture can be taken.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The red arrow that flashes means that the pictures or videos are being written onto the memory card.

Also, try to be steady when taking pictures, because slight hand movement can cause blurry images too.

Page 25 in the DMC-FZ7's english manual will also explain how to focus.

Kodak easyshare DX 7630 screen black in take a picture mode but is fine in review etc

Hey Wistra,
You could try resetting your camera to the factory settings by choosing the reset to default setting in the menu. If this doesn't work the sensor on the camera is most likely broken, and you should have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. If the camera was purchased less than a year ago the repair would most likely be covered under manufacturers’ warranty. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

Nixon coolpix L11

if the resulting images are the same, you have damaged the camera settings/controllers. see how they look on your computer.
if only the display on the camera is damaged, you should consider asking for a flat rate repair. most makers offer a price for major and minor repairs, and never charge beyond that.
good luck
