Hi, i have Lenovo thinkpad R60. but i can't install the network controller driver. so help me and tell me where i find the related driver?

ThinkPad The same model ThinkPadcan have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless youknow exactly which one is installed in your ThinkPad, you need to download allthe drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download thedrivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a recordof which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files arelocated on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEBsite - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers foryour model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true

Welcome to Fixya

Make sure that all driver are installed. Especially the wireless LAN driver. Go to control panel then click on system then click device manager. Look for the network adapter category. There should be no exclamation mark to any of the devices listed there. You can download all your computer drivers here. If everything are ok then all you need to do is to go to control panel. Click network connection. Look for icon named Wireless then click on it. Search your router and connect to it.

My wireless is getting off every 2 to 3 fter it is switched on ibm r60

If your wireless is disconnecting you after a few minutes it could be interference anything on 2.4GHZ will interfere with a wireless connection, baby monitors, chicken wire, big aquariums, Marble flooring. If using Win XP right click on your wireless network connection icon in the control panel under network connections and click properties, then click the advanced tab. Make sure IEEE enabled is NOT checked. If it is thats probably the reason its disconnecting you.

ThinkPad R40 with no sound

have you tried going into your master volume contro properties and turned everything up there. If you double click on your volume control near the time and go to properties you'll find all the controls there. Let me know if that works for you.

SOUND CARD NOT FOUND BY WINDOWS

Go to the ThinkPad Website

Put in the information for your computer and search for an audio driver. It will be a free download. Follow all of the instructions that come with the driver.

I would provide a direct link to the driver, but you did not list the specific Type of Thinkpad R60 that you own. There are many types. Also it may matter if you have XP SP1 or SP2.
